6- Red nails

A healthy nail is naturally pink. Red spots, on the other hand, can be a symptom of heart, lung, or kidney disease. When the area around the nails becomes red and swollen, it may be due to an allergy or Candida fungus, a yeast that occurs naturally on the skin and mucous membranes. These yeasts infiltrate under the cuticle and proliferate when the hands are often in the water and poorly cared for.
The inflammation is quite painful and the nail gradually becomes detached. It is then necessary to remove the area attacked by the fungus and to apply an antimycotic treatment.
